LOCAL ATTORNEY AND TADELMAN SUPPORTER ARRESTED FOR DAMAGING POLITICAL SIGNS
On January 25, 2022, the Tony Colatorti for Sheriff campaign discovered multiple campaign signs vandalized in Woodstock with libelous stickers.
Several days later, numerous Colatorti campaign signs were discovered damaged in the same manner in Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, and Woodstock, and the Colatorti campaign filed a police report with all respective law enforcement agencies to investigate these criminal acts.
After a thorough investigation by the Crystal Lake Police Department, law enforcement identified a suspect as Robert Hanlon, 55-years-old, of Woodstock.
Hanlon, a supporter and financial contributor to Colatorti’s political opponent, Robb Tadelman, recently donated $1,000 to the Robb Tadelman for Sheriff campaign.
Hanlon has previously donated more than $2,200 to Bill Prim’s campaign for McHenry County Sheriff.
The Colatorti campaign is seeking justice for all of those responsible for these petty and underhanded acts.
Anyone who has further information about these crimes is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
“The chief law enforcement officer in this County needs to be someone who exemplifies integrity and who inspires others to act with honor,” said Colatorti.
“As the head of my campaign, I set the tone and will continue to ensure that my supporters help me run an honest, positive, and law-abiding campaign.
“I regret to say, my opponent does not seem to be instilling the same standard.”
Colatorti continued, “I have pledged to keep Chicago-style crime out of McHenry County.
“I’m sorry to say, Robb Tadelman’s campaign has already brought Chicago-style politics here.
“This is what I mean when I talk about the good ole boys- a network of powerful friends and politicians who will seemingly do anything to get their hand-picked successors elected.”

The charges against this individual are an allegation, and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

I’m surprised about Hanlon.
I caught a thug stealing my Colatorti sign. When I confronted him and filmed him, he claimed it was an ordinance violation because it was too early for signs.
I told him to wait, while I call the cops toget to the bottom of everything. Hedropped the sign and ran off to a waiting, running car with a wheelman.
He doesn’t look very happy in his mugshot.

The reason the NW Herald mentioned Gasser, Tirio, and Skinner is because they (the newspaper people) have grudges against them.

Since we know that Happy Trails is Robb, I will let everyone know that he has no idea what goes on in corrections and never has. He has no respect for any of those Officers that work in that department and that is well known.
Also, FOIA the ICE transport team grievance and who was all involved and what happened. You’ll find the two people involved with getting the county off the hook of a huge payout landed a very nice position. It went from a Officer position to a Sgt position. This position never existed prior to this ICE grievance. The details on this will open some eyes. Im sure Officers on the inside can shed alot more light onto this too.

Local 150 backs Colatorti. Hanlon appears to support Tadelman (gave him 1,000 dollars).
Local 150 gave Nygren 21,185 dollars.
That’s the part of the story that Colatorti supporters can’t get straight when they talk about “establishment” or “good ol boys.”
Prim and Nygren were on opposite ends of a major schism in the GOP
Local 150 supported Nygren and Nygren’s protege Zinke who was defeated by Bill Prim.
Not only did Hanlon give that thousand dollars to Tadelman, Hanlon gave money to Prim (who endorsed Tadelman) over the years.
Hanlon’s office gave 3 contributions totaling 1,450 dollars to Prim between 2014 and 2017.
So this idea that he’s some secret double agent…
I’m not buying it.
I think Hanlon is a legit supporter of Tadelman and there can be only a few explanations for this story about his arrest.
1. Hanlon is a doofus. We can subdivide.
a) He acted by himself.
b) He coordinated with other people in Tadelman’s campaign to deface Colatorti’s signs. (Have Tadelman or Prim even made a statement about this yet?)
2. Hanlon was wrongly accused, perhaps by police in Crystal Lake who are part of a Colatorti/Nygren/Local 150 axis.
There could be others that I missed.
The conversation here is pretty funny though. We have two different people saying they are going to have the dirt, and they are both arguing with each other. We just need to wait a few more weeks!
