McHenry’s Fiesta Days Parade – Part 4 – The Republicans

The Republicans came into sight behind another Cub Scout Pack’s entry.

The wind may have covered up a third number of this Cub Scout Pack’s banner. I seek the number “13.”

The first clue Republicans were next was rhe banner for Carl Kamienski, who is up for re-election to the McHenry County Board next year.

Carl Kamienski’s banner.

The County Board member was passing out American Flags.

Carl Kamienski.

The Republican Party came next.

Grafton Township Republican Party Chairman Orville Brettman was on its front again.

A small vehicle with signs for County Board member Carl Kamienski, Mike Buehler for County Board Chairman and Tom Weber for State Rep. came behind.

Signs promoted Republican candidates.

State Representative Tom Weber’s truck and trailer came next.

Tom Weber spoke to constituents along the parade route.
The GOP contingent seen from its read.

I thougt the local Democrats would have an entry, but they apparently did not come up with the required $450 fee in this McHenry Chamber of Commerce fundraising event.

  1. No, Pokorny, I’ll tell you how much society would benefit from your absence!

  2. Orville…one true patriot.

Yes, blowing up churches is so America, so patriotic.
