Follow-Up on Lou Ness Failure to Recognize Pledge of Allegiance

Marengo citizen Marty Mohr pulled an image of Democrat Lou Ness during the beginning of a McHenry County Board meeting.

Mohr sent it to Ness accompanied with this message:

Ms. Ness,

As I watched the recent Committee of the Whole meeting, it was hard for me to not notice your lack of decorum during the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.  (see picture)

Instead of “standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart”, like your fellow Board members, you chose to push your way behind Board Member Kamienski, pushing a chair forcefully out of your way.  Perhaps your coffee that you were so cautiously holding was more important than respecting the flag, as an elected member of the County Board should.

For your reference, I’ve attached a copy of Title 4, United Stated Code, Chapter 1 and a copy of The Pledge of Allegiance, suitable for printing and framing, that you may place at your board desk.

As a citizen of McHenry County, I expect more from an elected Board Member.

Below is the reply Ness sent to Mohr:

Thank you for the picture Marty

Louisett (Lou) Ness, County Board Member, District 7

Follow-Up on Lou Ness Failure to Recognize Pledge of Allegiance — 14 Comments

  1. Wow, trigger the deplorables, let’s keep beating this dead horse. The bitch crowd must not have anything to do this morning.

Atta boy Cal keep pandering and you wonder why there is no meaningful dialogue here? LOL

  2. When you know of a place you can get a free cup of coffee, she’s practically begging, “keep your f’ing mouth shut”

  3. Why can’t you people just do the right thing and find a mausoleum to put all those mummified remains in?

  4. Free coffee (and doughnuts) if you play bingo at Algonquin township.on Wednesdays.

    And free coffee to Striders.

Call supervisor Randy Funk to place your order.

  5. No initiative, no out-of-box solutions.

Not a single person thought, to pull those old yellow granny panties, out and over her head in an Atomic Wedgie.

Do I have to do all the thinking around here?

  6. I agree. Elected officials should respect the 15-25 seconds it takes to honor the Pledge of Allegiance..

She couldn’t be bothered. a instead of acting like she is entitled to be there, she should really be thankful that people of McHenry County voted her in for some odd reason.

  7. No wonder why she was head of the official man haters organization. From battered to bully.

  8. She’s big on lgbtq, and a urinetarian universalist.

    A BLM butt-kisser.

If you play bridge with her, watch her very closely.

    She’s radioactive!

  9. Maybe at the next political event she attents, everyone should turn around and face away when she enters the room

  10. The “urinetarian” thing must be new with Ness.

She used to be a deacon at the Episcopal Church in Woodstock.

  11. Well, “Biden Hunter” she is gay!

So that would make a lot of sense that she’s big on LGBTQ+ rights, right?

Think about it this way, you seem to be big on hating women, but you’re a man — so that makes sense.
