Glory Be. Algonquin Township Supervisor Randy Funk Follows My Suggestion To Email Notice of Township Trustee Vacancy to Township List

I really could not believe that Algonquin Township Supervisor Randy Funk had withheld email notice to Township residents that applicants were being sought to replace Trustee Ed Zimel (who is still appealing his ouster).

My apologies foir the following run-on sentence. Perhaps my having taken four years of German is the cause.

Those with low opinions of township government will not be surprised to learn that the three people who applied for the vacancy that was made public only

  • in a legal notice in the Northwest Herald, which I doubt any McHenry County Blog readers ever look at, and
  • on the Township web site, not exactly a place people regularly visit,

were men Funk had appointed to the decennail committee (a group that will conclude the pretty much nothing needs to be changed in Algonquin Township government):

  • William J. Spinelle, III

= = = = =

Correction: Kevin Byrnes and Robert Reining were not appointed to the Decential Committee, as a commenter points out. They did attend the meeting. Speinelle said his son was a member of the Crystal Lake Lions Club.

Anyway, here is the email:

  1. Germans are renowned for their run-on words. Backpfeifengesicht, Schadenfreude, Fahrvergnügen….

  2. On the other hand, there’s a town in Wales named Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogoch

  3. Monk, go back your legos and PeeWee Herman DVDs.

    Investigate Funk for patronage.

Why is he calling Bobby Miller every week?

  4. So, if somebody was convicted of child rape in Thailand; cannibalism in Nigeria; bank fraud in Ukraine; beastiality in Belgium, Kidnapping in Kenya, Arson in Puerto Rico, Mayhem in Manitoba and bigamy in Guam, they could be appointed by Funky Funk, with no problems?

    Nice!

  5. Perhaps IMO Zimel has gotten evidence of corruption or looking into it from his Trustee position and those involved want him out of the way.

Zimel has the ability to look at documents as well as talk to people that Joe Q. Citizen cannot.

I personally wouldn’t work with the MCSAO regarding this matter as I believe they are part of the corruption whose role is to look the other way.

Cortina left abruptly however he was still given information via emails from Vinto regarding Zimel.

Vinton was aware that Cortina was no longer the Townships legal council yet still communicated with Cortina.

    IMO, turds of a feather.

  6. Cal, Cal,Cal, this is one reason that no one takes you serious as a journalist. Randy Funk or Rany Fund as you call him has never appointed those three men for the committee, that’s just a blatant lie. He appointed one, Spinelli, he appointed Clerk Huff. My understanding is that most townships have also appointed their clerks. The other two were not appointed. I just listened to the meeting, you have to be dumber than a box of rocks to not understand where the information was shared that it would be on the website. I saw both Skinner and Pletz in the audience. These two men are lying when they state they were not aware.

  7. Correction made.

    Thanks, Citizen Editor.

I believe you have spelled the name of the appointee incorrectly, by the way.

  8. I believe that Algonquin Township was a large cash siphon scheme which was then given to area politicians via these debit gift cards.

The Biden’s used LLC’s to conceal payments while Algonquin Township used these cards making them tough to trace regarding who received them.

Add in a layer of protection from having the MCSA in their back pocket shielding them from investigation and prosecution makes this IMO those involved engaged in organized crime with no consequences.

  9. Likely IMO the money was layered into these ‘secret banking accounts’ then used to purchase these ‘debit gift cards’ in different amounts through different issuers so it is harder to pierce and trace.

Kenneally obviously was either totally incompetent to not follow this trail or put in place by those involved to avoid looking into it.
