Keicher Comments on Tim Mapes’ Conviction

From State Rep. Jeff Keicher:

Rep. Keicher Responds to Guilty Verdict in Latest Madigan Linked Corruption Trial

SYCAMORE – Following the verdict today in federal court finding Tim Mapes, former chief of staff and top aide to Mike Madigan, guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice, State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) issued the following statement in response:

“What we saw today is someone caught lying.

“Do not deceive yourself that it is a verdict on the patterns and practices that corrupt the fair service we owe to the people of Illinois.

“Illinois House Republicans have shared many ideas on how to close ethical loopholes that persist through multiple bills we have filed.

“I have seen my peers sharing many of these suggestions today.

“We can go on and on about what the legislature needs to structurally change.

“As a member of the Legislative Ethics Commission, I’d prioritize autonomy for the Legislative Inspector General to take on investigations wherever they may lead. Let’s allow an outsider to keep an eye on us.

“It is a sad day because Mr. Mapes was not held accountable for the corrupt enterprise, only for lying about it.

“My sincere hope is we can move in a positive direction for the people of this state.”

  1. The reality is 8 out of 10 lawyers do this with every word they speak.

    That’s why they are called ‘Shysters’.

  2. “We can go on and on about what the legislature needs to structurally change”

    What structurally needs to change Mr. Keicher is Republicans doing the SECRET HANDSHAKE and supporting Democrat bills that strengthen the Union stronghold Illinois citizens are forced to live with 24/7/365.

    STOP FEEDING THE CORRUPTION AND POOR INEFFICIENT GOVERNMENT.

    We have legislators in Springfield who voted to give government sector Unions more power by voting for Amendment 1, the so called Workers Rights? bill.

    Constitutional changes are almost never a good thing. States need to be flexible to compete and adapt to changes in economic conditions.

    The list of Amendment 1 votes.
    Keicher = Yes
    Ness = Yes
    Wilcox = Yes
    Dewitte = Yes
    Syverson Yes

    Reick = No!
    Sosnowski = No!
    Weber = No!
    McConchie = NO!
    Mclaughlin = Excused Absence
    Ugaste = No!

    Other notables
    Ozinga = Voted “Present” Took a walk as Cal would say….
    Senator Susan Rezin = Yes
    She didn’t get a Democrat opponent in 2022. Hmmmmmm…

    Close your eyes and ears to what they say and print. It’s BULLSHIT

    Open your eyes to how they vote!🇺🇸

  3. Trump getting fingerprinted and photo’s by rhe useless black daughter of the Marxist black panther father.

    The joy is he now has standing to present his proof of stolen elections.

    Enjoy the Show simps. I am

  4. Yes! Can’t wait!

    It will be a bigger event than Geraldo’s “The Mystery of Capone’s Vault”.

  5. “The joy is he now has standing to present his proof of stolen elections.”

    It’ll have to be concise, verifiable.

    They’re not going to have a whole trial just to prove evidence.

    It’ll have to be a half-hour presentation, tops.

    This is going nowhere.

    However, his “evidence” MAY be allowed in defense in terms of state of mind, or intent.

    Still going nowhere.

    You just keep waiting and waiting and waiting.

    You’re like the aboriginal cargo cultists in New Guinea, waiting for the Flying Gods to drop goods from the sky onto your island paradise.

    You’re starving.

  6. Looks like the Fed’s are getting closer to others involved with Madigan who’ll want to make a deal for a lighter sentence or immunity.

    How convenient that Lisa Madigan was AG of Illinois keeping investigations away from her Father in my opinion.

    Reminds me of Merrick Garland’s handling of Hunter Brandon and Kenneally of Algonquin Township.

  7. I can’t believe Wilcox stabbed us in the back like that!

    Keicher, DeWitte, Syverson, yeah, of course they betrayed us once again, but Wilcox?

    Was he on drugs?

  8. Excerpt from above site lambasting idiot kosher-‘conservatives’:

    The conservatives believe in “personal liberty,” and therefore have to allow trannies, and can’t ever consider how trannies affect society. All they can do is appeal to the ideology that when you turn 18, you magically are instilled with “consent.” So then, after having accepted that trannies have some right to exist (or rather, pretend to exist) because of “personal liberty,” they allow the left to move around and form their own counter argument as to why they have a right to the kids.

    Viz:

    You accept that trannies exist (a soul can be trapped in the wrong body somehow).

    Therefore, children can be trannies (because if this is a soul displacement, the soul is displaced from birth).

    Therefore, children have a right to access tranny materials and consider whether or not they are trannies.

    Therefore, children have a right to embrace the tranny identity.

    Therefore, tranny children have a right to take hormones and have surgeries, because doing this stuff before puberty is the only way they will ever be able to pass as the opposite sex.

    Therefore, parents who do not allow their children to become trannies and get injections and surgeries are engaged in a form of terrible abuse.

    Therefore, the government has the right to take the tranny kids from anti-tranny parents and turn them into trannies at government facilities.

    Do you see how this works?

    It all starts from this ideological principle that “individual liberty” means you have to allow people to do whatever they want sexually, and accept their “identity.””
