Found on the agenda packet of the McHenry County Board’s Public Health & Community Services Committee are receommendations for these three grants:
- McHenry Township- Senior Express Program – $24,000
- Richmond Township – Senior Transportation Program – $20,000
- Village of Hebron – Senior Bus Program – $6,000
I can tell you right now the Richmond Township grants is a total waste.
The busses are empty 95% of the time you see them in town and are used by township grifters outside the township, like the township official’s daughter’s wedding party scandal in Des Plaines some years ago.
The County has its own Pace Bus System covering Richmond!!!!
Why do these townships need to duplicate coverage? More taxes for nothing!
