If I recall correctly my golfing buddy Aaron Shepley supported Illinois House Representative Democrat Jack Franks while he was the McHenry County GOP Vice-Chairman for the position of McHenry County Board Chairman in 2016.
Franks was under investigation by the ISP Special Investigations Unit for sexual misconduct at the time.
IMO I thought that was a questionable choice by Aaron based on his political party affiliation yet alone with these serious criminal allegations litigation pending.
The Northworst Herald then endorsed Franks for the position making no mention of these allegations.
All of this never made any logical sense as it didn’t add up IMO.
