A new group called “McHenry County Progressives” has prepared a comprehensive sample ballot.
It’s so long that I back-posted it. You can find it here.
Today I’ll share the top priority races the group has identified.
Those are the ones that the group has marked with green (maybe it’s red–I’m red-green color blind) or yellow.

The Progressives right, more like the Old Crowd of samosamo just trying to stay in their positions… not!
The kiss of DEATH
Where we could only guess before; the certainty grows.
They so got it wrong with many of their choices.
Pondering on the influx of progressives into our McHenry County political arena put me in mind of a story my cousin from Texas sent recently.
Texas Sheriff’s Exam…
A young Texan grew up wanting to be a lawman.
He grew up big, 6′ 2″, strong as a longhorn, and fast as a mustang. He could shoot a bottle cap tossed in the air at 40 paces.
When he finally came of age, he applied to where he had only dreamed of working: the West Texas Sheriff’s Department.
After a series of tests and interviews, the Chief Deputy finally called him into his office for the young man’s last interview.
The Chief Deputy said, “You’re a big strong kid and you can really shoot. So far your qualifications all look good, but we have, what you might call, an “Attitude Suitability Test”, that you must take before you can be accepted. We just don’t let anyone carry our badge, son.”
Then, sliding a service pistol and a box of ammo across the desk, the Chief said, “Take this pistol and go out and shoot:
six illegal aliens,
six ambulance-chasing lawyers,
six meth dealers,
six Muslim extremists,
six Democrats,
and a rabbit”
“Why the rabbit?” queried the applicant.
“You pass,” said the Chief Deputy. “When can you start?”
Remember to vote Progressive so our tax dollars can go to bail out Chicagos mess http://mchenrytimes.com/stories/511100446-illinois-households-saddled-with-56-000-tax-burden-to-pay-government-employees-retirement-debt
If you are a Republican Precinct Committee man and you are on this list you should be embarrassed.
Cary mayor!
If you’re a Republican period, you should be ashamed to be on this list!
McHenry County needs more competition in the elections from other parties.
As you review your real estate tax bills, remember that the County has been run by “Republicans” for as long as you have owned your home.
@ Tom
ROTFLMAO
Just remember; “If you like your doctor you’ll get to keep your doctor”. LOL
And, if you would look at the sample ballot, you would see only four townships have partisan elections.
The rest of the ballots are non-partisan.
So many candidates listed as “Independent” so they can attract disgruntled voters.
I’m ashamed to say I used to be a Republican, who have no clue or compassion for the people and the earth we live on.
Unfortunately the Democrats do not have their act together, giving little viable alternatives and not listening to the progressive ideas.
We’ve got to stop the county take over by the tea-party; this is how we do it!
Great job McHenry County Progressives!
Craig Adams and Jim Adams ‘Progressive’ endorsees …. of course!!!
They have progressively overtaxed us and redistributed the money to illegals!!
With Illinois and Chicago being run so well, why would anyone in McHenry County vote Democrat or Progressive?
