McHenry County Board member Michael Rein’s re-election campaign piece arrived in District 5 mailboxes on Wednesday.

In his campaign, Rein points out that his efforts have led to
reducing expenses by $5 million by reforming the health care benefits and wellness programs
- saving 30% of projected county ($1.2 million)
- administrative building remodeling by challenging the proposal
- voting to give taxpayers back $586,000 after a bond borrowing was paid off (the majority of the board kept levying the tax)
