Although I was unable to attend the Right Nation Rally in Rosemont Saturday, other McHenry County residents carried the local flag.
Among them were McHenry County Board candidate Nick Provenzano and Joe Alger, a leader in Patriots United.
It appears that the demonstrators irritated Alger.
At least that’s what I conclude from the photo above.
All photos were taken by Ryan Provenzano.
I can understand the frustration that I think Joe is experiencing when I see these photos. However, I wish I had been the one to offer to buy a ticket for one of the protesters and invite him to come inside and see that there was no hate message being communicated. I think that approach of offering a hand of peace and fellowship could only help educate and gain voters to our side. Those people behind the police tape are just the ones we need to reach out to.
10,000 seats……5,000 tickets sold…..3,300 show up to see a whole bunch of nothing.
The protesters were paid and bused from the southside of Chicago. Neither did any of them ever hear or see Glenn Beck before. Sounds like bias simular to local newspaper reporting.
