Hultgren Sums Up the Week

Randy Hultgren

An email from Congressman Randy Hultgren:

Earlier this week, I asked you and others like you from across my district whether you were concerned about gas prices and whether you supported expanded domestic energy production. In both cases, the answer was an overwhelming yes – 94 percent said they were concerned about gas prices, while 83 percent said they supported more American energy production.

This week, I took that message to the House floor, echoing my constituents’ concerns and calling for expanded domestic energy production to help lower gas prices.

Hultgren Op-Ed Of The Week: The Hill: “H.R. 7 More Than Just Roads And Bridges”

“As the House debates an infrastructure bill, we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that the legislation at hand is more than just roads and bridges. For example, H.R. 7 would help our nation’s veterans obtain their Commercial Driver’s License, and with it the prospect of a good-paying private sector job. Perhaps more importantly, it would also help to ensure that teen drivers are better prepared for the challenges of the road.”
