Sheriff’s Race: Opposition Research Rebuttals

A couple of days ago, McHenry County Blog published opposition research provided by supporters of both Republican candidates for Sheriff.

There have been a drum beat of comments from Tony Colatorti’s supporters that Robb Tadleman is a close ally of former State Representative and McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks.

I contiually challenged commenters to provide evidence.

Finally, a screen shot pulled from a YouTube video was provided.

It had Jack Franks’ name on it and a photo of Tadelman holding a sign saying, “Stay Home, McHenry County.”

In the background was “McHenry County Sheriff’s Department” and an enlarged departmental badge.

I asked Tadelman about it and got the following reply:

“I support freedom of speech and everyone’s 1st Amendment.

“I knew the nastiness of getting into the political world.

“What I don’t stand for is Anti-Semitic comments, ignorance and bigotry.

“I’m saddened that people who have all of these traits live in this community.

“The screenshot that you just sent me came from one of Tony’s followers’ undercover accounts, I know, people have sent it to me.

“The picture you just sent me is from Jack Franks political page from April of 2020.

“The YouTube link is from the McHenry County Department of Health on a collaborative video from agencies throughout the county.

“Why my picture is what is shown for the link, is beyond me, but other than a 3 second part of a video that is 1 minute and 30 seconds long,

“I’m not sure how it ties me to Jack Franks.

“I can say with 100% confidence that I have NO INVOLVEMENT with Jack Franks.

“Outside of work, I have no relationship with him.

“I don’t have his number.

“I never went on a fishing trip with him.

“I never went to Vegas with him.

“The only link outside of work is that we belong to the same Jewish Congregation that he only attends on high holidays at most.

“And because we are Jews, we must be buddies.

“That’s gross.

“I’m not sure how much more I can tell you and other people that we have no connection.”

At the four second mark, one can see the source of the screen shot:

This is what pops up when one shares the YouTube video, as I did here.

Tadelman supporters sent two emails from Prairie Grove Village President David Underwood that seem to document that Colatorti was dismissed as the village’s Police Chief in the third week of September, 2021:

In rebuttal, I receiced the following Prairie Grove minutes from September 28, 2020, from Colatorti supporters:

Also included were a “Retired Chief” badge and identificaiton card from Prairie Grove:

Retired Prairie Grove Chief of Police badge.
Identification card from Prairie Grove of Antonio Calatorti as “Retired – Chief of Police.”

Sheriff’s Race: Opposition Research Rebuttals — 36 Comments

  1. Is he a dual Israeli-American citizen?

I think voters have a right to know this, and he refuses to answer. Why?

This is not anti-semitic in the least to ask these questions.

Here’s a listing from the Dubya misadministration. There have been more and more of the dual nations in every succeeding misadministration including Trump’s. Now, its at it’s zenith and we could well be heading to WWIII thanks to our the sinister dual nationals pulling Biden’s strings:

While Washington claims it has a “good neighbor” policy with Mexico, the U.S. does not permit Mexicans to hold dual nationality. The US makes them become either U.S. or Mexican — you can’t be both. But the U.S., in its special relationship with Israel, has become very sympathetic to allowing Israeli-Americans to retain two nationalities and allowing U.S. citizens not only to hold public office in Israel, but to hold US government positions as well! No other country holds this special exception to our laws of citizenship.

So, you might ask, are there any other dual Israel-American citizens who hold US government positions that could compromise American security? Yes. Consider the following list that I obtained on the web:

    Michael Mukasey
Recently appointed as US Attorney General. Mukasey also was the judge in the litigation between developer Larry Silverstein and several insurance companies arising from the destruction of the World Trade Center.

    Michael Chertoff
Former Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, at the Justice Department; now head of Homeland Security.

    Richard Perle
One of Bush’s foreign policy advisors, he is the chairman of the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board. A very likely Israeli government agent, Perle was expelled from Senator Henry Jackson’s office in the 1970’s after the National Security Agency (NSA) caught him passing Highly-Classified (National Security) documents to the Israeli Embassy. He later worked for the Israeli weapons firm, Soltam. Perle came from one the above mentioned pro-Israel thinktanks, the AEI. Perle is one of the leading pro-Israeli fanatics leading this Iraq war mongering within the administration and now in the media.

    Paul Wolfowitz
Former Deputy Defense Secretary, and member of Perle’s Defense Policy Board, in the Pentagon. Wolfowitz is a close associate of Perle, and reportedly has close ties to the Israeli military. His sister lives in Israel. Wolfowitz came from the above mentioned Jewish thinktank, JINSA. Wolfowitz was the number two leader within the administration behind this Iraq war mongering. He later was appointed head of the World Bank but resigned under pressure from World Bank members over a scandal involving his misuse of power.

    Douglas Feith
Under Secretary of Defense and Policy Advisor at the Pentagon. He is a close associate of Perle and served as his Special Counsel. Like Perle and the others, Feith is a pro-Israel extremist, who has advocated anti-Arab policies in the past. He is closely associated with the extremist group, the Zionist Organization of America, which even attacks Jews that don’t agree with its extremist views. Feith frequently speaks at ZOA conferences. Feith runs a small law firm, Feith and Zell, which only has one International office, in Israel. The majority of their legal work is representing Israeli interests. His firm’s own website stated, prior to his appointment, that Feith “represents Israeli Armaments Manufacturer.” Feith basically represents the Israeli War Machine. Feith also came from the Jewish thinktank JINSA. Feith, like Perle and Wolfowitz, are campaigning hard for this Israeli proxy war against Iraq.

    Lawrence (Larry) Franklin
The former Defense Intelligence Agency analyst with expertise in Iranian policy issues who worked in the office of Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith and reported directly to Feith’s deputy, William Luti, was sentenced January 20, 2006, “to more than 12 years in prison for giving classified information to an Israeli diplomat” and members of the pro-Israel lobbying group American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Franklin will “remain free while the government continues with the wider case” and his “prison time could be sharply reduced in return for his help in prosecuting” former AIPAC members Steven J. Rosen and Keith Weissman, [who] are scheduled to go on trial in April [2006]. Franklin admitted that he met periodically with Rosen and Weissman between 2002 and 2004 and discussed classified information, including information about potential attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq. Rosen and Weissman would later share what they learned with reporters and Israeli officials.” (source: sourcewatch.com).

    Edward Luttwak
Member of the National Security Study Group of the Department of Defence at the Pentagon. Luttwak is reportedly an Israeli citizen and has taught in Israel. He frequently writes for Israeli and pro-Israeli newspapers and journals. Luttwak is an Israeli extremist whose main theme in many of his articles is the necessity of the U.S. waging war against Iraq and Iran.

    Henry Kissinger
One of many Pentagon Advisors, Kissinger sits on the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board under Perle. For detailed information about Kissinger’s evil past, read Seymour Hersch’s book (Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House). Kissinger likely had a part in the Watergate crimes, Southeast Asia mass murders (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos), Installing Chilean mass murdering dictator Pinochet, Operation Condor’s mass killings in South America, and more recently served as Serbia’s Ex-Dictator Slobodan Milosevic’s Advisor. He consistently advocated going to war against Iraq. Kissinger is the Ariel Sharon of the U.S. Unfortunately, President Bush nominated Kissinger as chairman of the September 11 investigating commission. It’s like picking a bank robber to investigate a fraud scandal. He later declined this job under enormous protests.

    Dov Zakheim
Dov Zakheim is an ordained rabbi and reportedly holds Israeli citizenship. Zakheim attended Jew’s College in London and became an ordained Orthodox Jewish Rabbi in 1973. He was adjunct professor at New York’s Jewish Yeshiva University. Zakheim is close to the Israeli lobby.

Dov Zakheim is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and in 2000 a co-author of the Project for the New American Century’s position paper, Rebuilding America’s Defenses, advocating the necessity for a Pearl-Harbor-like incident to mobilize the country into war with its enemies, mostly Middle Eastern Muslim nations.

He was appointed by Bush as Pentagon Comptroller from May 4, 2001 to March 10, 2004. At that time he was unable to explain the disappearance of $1 trillion dollars. Actually, nearly three years earlier, Donald Rumsfeld announced on September 10, 2001 that an audit discovered $2.3 trillion was also missing from the Pentagon books. That story, as mentioned, was buried under 9-11’s rubble. The two sums disappeared on Zakheim’s watch. We can only guess where that cash went.

Despite these suspicions, on May 6, 2004, Zakheim took a lucrative position at Booz Allen Hamilton, one of the most prestigious strategy consulting firms in the world. One of its clients then was Blessed Relief, a charity said to be a front for Osama bin Laden. Booz, Allen & Hamilton then also worked closely with DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which is the research arm of the Department of Defense.

Judicial Inc’s bio of Dov tells us Zakheim is a dual Israeli/American citizen and has been tracking the halls of US government for 25 years, casting defense policy and influence on Presidents Reagan, Clinton, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. Judicial Inc points out that most of Israel’s armaments were gotten thanks to him. Squads of US F-16 and F-15 were classified military surplus and sold to Israel at a fraction of their value.

    Kenneth Adelman
One of many Pentagon Advisors, Adelman also sits on the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board under Perle, and is another extremist pro-Israel advisor, who supported going to war against Iraq. Adelman frequently is a guest on Fox News, and often expresses extremist and often ridiculus anti-Arab and anti-Muslim views. Through his racism or ignorance, he actually called Arabs “anti-Semitic” on Fox News (11/28/2001), when he could have looked it up in the dictionary to find out that Arabs by definition are Semites.

    I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby
Vice President Dick Cheney’s ex-Chief of Staff. As chief pro-Israel Jewish advisor to Cheney, it helps explains why Cheney is so gun-ho to invade Iran. Libby is longtime associate of Wolfowitz. Libby was also a lawyer for convicted felon and Israeli spy Marc Rich, whom Clinton pardoned, in his last days as president. Libby was recently found guilty of lying to Federal investigators in the Valerie Plame affair, in which Plame, a covert CIA agent, was exposed for political revenge by the Bush administration following her husband’s revelations about the lies leading to the Iraq War.

    Robert Satloff
U.S. National Security Council Advisor, Satloff was the executive director of the Israeli lobby’s “think tank,” Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Many of the Israeli lobby’s “experts” come from this front group, like Martin Indyk.

    Elliott Abrams
National Security Council Advisor. He previously worked at Washington-based “Think Tank” Ethics and Public Policy Center. During the Reagan Adminstration, Abrams was the Assistant Secretary of State, handling, for the most part, Latin American affairs. He played an important role in the Iran-Contra Scandal, which involved illegally selling U.S. weapons to Iran to fight Iraq, and illegally funding the contra rebels fighting to overthrow Nicaragua’s Sandinista government. He also actively deceived three congressional committees about his involvement and thereby faced felony charges based on his testimony. Abrams pled guilty in 1991 to two misdemeanors and was sentenced to a year’s probation and 100 hours of community service. A year later, former President Bush (Senior) granted Abrams a full pardon. He was one of the more hawkish pro-Israel Jews in the Reagan Administration’s State Department.

The list is enormous and this is from 2007.

  2. This makes it crystal clear that Colatorti was fired for some type of misconduct but then given the opportunity to “retire” to save face.

I would think he owes the voters an explanation, assuming he even stays on the ballot.

  3. Because Science, No, it proves the opposite.

    Tony did not get fired.

You don’t get a badge if you get fired.

When there is ‘misconduct in law enforcement, they don’t care about ‘saving face’ for you!

And they definitely don’t hand over custody of a very expensive canine officer to you!

  4. Tony’s campaign lied about……
    Resigned or get fired
    Qualifications to be on ballot
    Friend of Jack Franks
    McHenry County HEALTH Department video
    Robb running scared
No one on the Department likes him
    Happy is Bill
All lies……..Robb is not afraid of losing….he’s afraid of Tony winning and bringing back all the corruption and lies that Prim fought so hard to get rid of…..it’s up to the voter’s to decide what kind of leader they want……..

    Truth or Lies

  5. SIT: He was told in the letter that if he didn’t resign by 5 PM in two days time that the President would go to the Board, which means a resolution to fire him.

This happens all the time in government and in business.

    It avoids a potential lawsuit.

    The fact that

When they retire you give them a little party and some cake and have some pictures taken.

This was a firing and he is going to have to level with folks about the circumstances or they will come out in a mailer.

  6. Not surprised Tadelman would pull the race card in his desperation. The bigotry works both ways and Tadelman is part of that.

Tadelman says on his own website that “We can’t elect a restaurant owner who has never served in this office,”
Hey Tadelman, the LAW dictates that you don’t have to “serve in the Sheriff’s office” to run for Sheriff. Colatorti is not a restaurant owner with no Law Enforcement experience! Statement on your own website is the epitome of ‘The Good Old Boys club’ that Colatorti speaks of. (among other things) Limiting a candidate to currently being employed in the Sheriff’s Dept is Unconstitutional. You’re clearly not the Constitutional Sheriff’s candidate.

(not to mention your violation of a citizen’s 4th amendment rights where you were sued, and lost and it cost McHenry County taxpayers $$$$$ because you don’t follow the Constitution.)

Furthermore, your dig to people being restaurant owners is bigoted and ignorant. Restaurants are businesses people with budgets, workforce, licenses, regulation, rent, purchasing, payroll – many moving parts. Much credit goes to Colatorti for creatively staying open during the pandemic. He saved taxpayers from Over-Paying the Unemployed to “Stay Home” like Tadelman instructed McHenry County to do. What did Tadelman care about small businesses that were dying? He was being artificially promoted for political purposes with pay raises to go along with it…. just like Nygren did with Zinke! Prim/Tadelman has become Nygren/Zinke.

Tadelman supporters within the establishment McHenry County Republican Party Leadership displayed the same kind of bigotry and worse. Calling Colatorti “Goombah”, “Dago” and trying to limit his professional experience to being a “cook”! They also have taken/hidden his signs at the Republican’s office. Don’t even get me started with Tadelman’s LAWLESS supporters that have been caught in slander, vandalizing, stalking and intimidation! Tadelman condones that for his own political gain and THAT’S what we cannot have serving in the Sheriff’s office!

Colatorti is a well respected Veteran Law Enforcement officer with 22 yrs experience of being Police Chief where the buck stopped with him! i.e. Budget, Employees, HR, Rules & Regs, all Vehicles, Disciplinary Actions to take, and Hiring/Employee Retention. He’s also a successful businessman with many of the same responsibilities. His successful business has added quite a lot of ambience as a destination, helping neighboring businesses and adding tax dollars to downtown Algonquin.

I’m voting for the guy running a Clean Campaign with the most Experience and Responsibility and who will be the Constitutional Sheriff
    COLATORTI for SHERIFF

  7. Those that scream the loudest have the most to hide. Tadlemann is a RINO at best. The sign he held in that video for 3 seconds shows you he bought the Covid lie hook line and sinker. That go along to get along with the mob and lying liberals tells me all I need to know. He’s not a leader. He’s an enabler to the big agenda. Cal next time you speak to him ask him if he thinks forced jabs and forced mask mandates could come back in the future. If CDC science comes out of his mouth it proves my point. When did we start getting medical advice from the MSM and politicians like Tadlemann anyway? Those that do still think the ERIC software, Dominion and ES$S voting machines and having no voter ID deliver the most accurate election results in history. I wonder when Tirio is going to get the latest software update before the primaries?

  8. Tadelman playing the race card.

Just like Irvin, Pritzker, Preckwinckle, Chuy Garcia, Underwood, Mayorkas, Blinken, Vindman, Schumer, Lightfoot, Franks, Obama, Schiff, Bernie, Colin Powell, Smollett, ad infinitum.

  9. If Tadelman has a meltdown about being associated with Franks, he took all of Franks social positions:

    Abortion
    Same sex marriage
    Gay adoption
    Transgender nuttiness
    Tax and spend
    Section 8 crimewave
    Sanction state
    Fentenol

Maybe if Tadelman took the opposite position I’d vote for him.

    But he won’t!

He loses on the issues! Not because he’s Jewish.

He’s already in huge hole IMHO because of his involvement in trying to get lists of covid infectees and vaccinated.

  10. Mellow ‘Monk’ you’ve already come out of your closet, supporting Tadelman.

You use ad hominems on “Dobie Gillis” above, but I find it VERY disturbing that US congressman and Senators and Administration and high Deep State officials have dual nationality with Israel.

Are Israeli/US nationals the only ones?

    Why isn’t this illegal?

No wonder we give Israel so many tens of billions and get sucked into so many stupid Middle East wars for absolutely nothing.

  11. Tadelman is pretty funny. I hope Colatorti fires his lying, whining butt.

  12. Because, why are you and all the other leftists shilling for Tadelrat.

  13. Krypta; I just want to know why the guy was fired.

    Could be pretty important.

Presumably he had an employment contract which guaranteed his job except for “cause”.

So he must have done something pretty major.

    What was it?

I don’t care who he is.

I just think people should know that regardless of which candidate it applies to.

It would have been really nice if we had known about Franks’s pecadillos before the first Chairman election instead of later.

    Just sayin.

  14. Could be important to know.

Just as it would have been important to have had widespread knowledge of Hunter’s laptop and it’s contents before the last election.

    ✌️😎

  15. I want to know why he was asked to resign.

Tadelman’s people think it must be something bad. If it was something bad, voters deserve to know.

If it’s not, the Colatorti camp can absolve itself of wrongdoing and point to Tadelman’s people as liars.

The sooner we find out, the better.

By May 19th people are going to be doing early and mail-in voting.

    That leaves about 4 weeks.

Would it still be possible to have a forum too, one where both candidates show up?

What if you guys all just email Tyler Wilke and tell him to tell them to do it?

Yeah, that would work, wouldn’t it?

Just schedule it like three weeks from now give or take a little.

  16. Look at that crap. Cockwomble Monk introduces Hunter Biden’s laptop into the dialogue. A true RINO. Get those receipts Cockwomble. I’m dying to see them.

I bet Tony refused to continue to write revenue generating tickets in the same way Bull Valley does and the PhD leader didn’t like it.

Just what we need is a PhD running a village.

Look how well they run school districts and teach indoctrinated woke college kids.

It’s funny his last name is Underwood.

    The irony is priceless.

  17. The issue in the Sheriff’s race is not ideology nor religion.

    Its the ability to administer.

The Sheriff is an administrator of a large and complicated structure that includes both people in the field, court bailiffs, and the jail.

So if a candidate actually was an administrator, albiet on a smaller scale in a small municipality, but was forced to resign before he was fired, that would be highly relevant I would think.

So can we get some facts on that instead of going off on tangents on Israel and Hunter Biden?

    Thanks.

  18. Science, Colatorti wasn’t fired.

    Simple.

Stop your defamation of the guy.

Retirement badge you cant get if you’re fired.

Also the expensive and beloved canine officer Tony was allowed to take doesn’t happen if there was even a drop of bad blood!

  19. Oak: The letter from the Village President is very clear that he is being fired:

    (1) You are stripped of your police powers effective immediately;

    (2) You have two days to resign or the matter will be referred to the Village Board (which has the power to remove him).

Then he “retires” right before the deadline.

It may be that he negotiated the badge and dog issue in return for not insisting on his rights under his employment contract (which most police chiefs will have).

Probably there is a non disclosure agreement also so you can’t ask Village officers what happened.

Its not much of a severance package so I have to think he didn’t have much, if any, leverage.

All he needs to do is come clean.

    Silence is suspicious.

  20. Fired….

And he’ll never answer that question!

    He’ll never come clean!

  21. Tadelman and Greg Pyle.

    1. Who warned deputy pedo Pyle of the Fed investigation? Pyle ‘lost’ his cell phone minutes after he got a call and hours before his arrest. This was brought up by the federal prosecutor. Someone from the Sheriff’s Office tipped off Pyle hours before his arrest by the FBI.
But who. The sentencing judge asked much the same questions because Pyle’s obstruction was brought up as an aggravating matter.

    2. Why do the overwhelming majority of the deputy sheriffs and jailers support Colatorti? I find this quite odd that the unknown outsider is so favored (90%!) in complete violation of “take the devil you know not the devil you don’t know” precept.

    3. Why does Tadelman conveniently say he’s now Republican, like Irvin, after being a Democrat for so many years?

    4. What is Tadelman’s opinion of the FOID card/2A?

    5. Why does Tadelman support special gay rights, trans craziness and Rauner and Pritzker’s ‘sanctuary state’ bs?

  22. Wait, are you guys saying Colatorti was a K-9 cop?

Why isn’t he posting pictures of doggo?

    Politics 101
    Voters like dogs.

Or is he saving it for a mailer?

The proverbial knock out punch, mm?

(I know his campaign adviser is reading this.)

  23. The emails sum it up. Colatori was given the opportunity to resign or be terminated by the Village.

He resigned to avoid being fired.

Subpoena the Village President for a deposition and get the reasons for it from the horses mouth.

Then bring in Kenneally his endorser for the other side from the horses ass.

  24. At least Colatorti left in grace because of differences about the future of the agency- he was given his K-9, retirement ID, IROC, and retirement badge.

What about Tadelman’s idol, Bill Prim, sudden resignation??

Cops within Des Plaines were taking the fall for major scandals and then all of the top brass were suddenly resigning. 🤔

What is the saying about people in glass houses??

Also, ask Tadelman if he voted for comrade Obama. He bragged about voting for him.

    https://www.journal-topics.com/articles/another-top-des-plaines-cop-preparing-to-retire/

  25. Prim announced that he was leaving.

He wasn’t told he was leaving.

  26. Mellow Monk, are you Prim? How the hell do you personally know what happened?

  27. Tadelman whines he’s being attacked unfairly because he’s Jewish.

That’s sad and funny at the same time.

Why do Jews attack Christianity on every one of their damned Teevee shows and movies?

  28. The overwhelming majority of the dept does not like Tadelman.

Keep in mind, Officers are also taxpayers.

The question we need to ask Tadelman is why are there still the same number of officers working in the
jail as there were 2-3 yrs ago even though the inmate population is less than half.

Currently there are almost as many
    officers as there are inmates.

County board needs to open their eyes and see the waste, fraud and abuse.
