No Child Car Seat Problems Found by Lake in the Hills, Crystal Lake or Cary Police

Lake in the Hills Police Department Announces Child Passenger Safety Results

Lake in the Hills, IL – The Lake in the Hills Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness of proper child safety seat use and encourage all motorists to buckle up.

The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including media campaign.

The Lake in the Hills Police Department issued 22 seat belt citations during its Child Passenger Safety enforcement campaign Sept. 18-30 and is pleased to report no child safety seat violations were observed.

Additionally, 43 total citations were issued for various violations of the Illinois Vehicle Code, including two arrests.

One driver was arrested for speeding 35+ miles per hour (mph) over the speed limit, 96 mph in a 50 mph zone.

A second arrest was made for Driving While License Suspended.

The Crystal Lake Police Department announces Child Passenger Safety Week results

The Crystal Lake Police Department issued 13 citations during its Child Passenger Safety Week enforcement campaign September 18th through the 24th .

The issued citations included 7 citations for distracted driving.

The Crystal Lake Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness of proper child safety seat use and encourage all motorists to buckle up.

The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign.

(Cary) – The Cary Police Department issued 11 speeding and 1 cellphone violation tickets during its Child Passenger Safety Week enforcement campaign Sept. 18-30.

The Cary Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness of proper child safety seat use and encourage all motorists to buckle up. The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign.
