UPDATE: WITH VOTES ON Kane County Tax Levy Kept Flat

Even though Democrats control the Kane County Board, members did not vote to increase taxes, even though the Democratice Chairwoman wanted them to.

A large crowd showed up, maybe resulting from County Treasurer Chris Lauzen’s plea:

Message sent to Kane County Republicans by the County’s Republican Central Committee.

The result was the huge turnout convinced the Kane County Board to defeat the proposed tax hike.

    Board member Cliff Surges did a skillfull job of defeating this unneeded tax increase.

    The amount of Democrat No votes is proof positive of his work.

    A overall well organized effort.

    But the Tax Raisers are like Fly’s on Stink Pile…
