McHenry County College Finance Committee Chairman Donna Kurtz, who works in Barrington, was late to her own committee meeting Thursday night.

This what she said when she arrived, about 6:45 for the six o’clock meeting:

“Thank you for bearing with me.

“I got caught in traffic.”

She missed the formal presentation of the audit findings by Fred Lantz of Sikich, LLP, but not the question and answer period.

Those following the MCC baseball stadium proposal will remember that traffic concerns were a major road block at the Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, where the vote to deny a zoning change was 8-0.
