“Cranks, Crabs and Curmudgeons” Which Are You?

Sunday Group Editor of the Northwest Herald Chris Krug wrote a column mainly on the bad judgment that anyone has who opposed McHenry County College’s baseball stadium.

The following paragraph stood out:

“In all likelihood, it appears, once again, that the naysayers – that vocal minority of cranks, crabs and curmudgeons who fear change and probably do not represent the views of their neighbors – got their way.”

So, now the entire Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission are a “vocal minority” worth calling names.

Not to mention all but one of the Crystal Lake residents who showed up to speak to the city council a week ago.

I’ve found that when people don’t have logical arguments, they resort to name calling.

Don’t forget that the McHenry County College Shoot-Out (oops, I mean board meeting) is tonight at 7 at the campus in Crystal Lake. Park on the north side.
