Sunday seems to be a popular day for Jack Franks to file information about big contributions with the Illinois State Board of Elections.
Yesterday he reported $5,000 from the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters…based in Chicago, of course.
Shouldn’t be much of a surprise.
Carpenters Union official Ronald Eck is one of Jack Franks’ cat’s paws, filing objection to Steve Reick’s petitions, and, if I searched enough, others.

Other than try to get some taxpayer cash to supplement his deteriorating law practice, what has Walkup done for anyone but himself?
Walkup did lead the successful effort to cut the county levy from $79 to $76 million last year.
