From a Friend of McHenry County Blog:
“Voted at the Johnsburg high, the paper ballot machine is not taking the ballots.
“This is the second time today.
“They are putting them in the bottom of the box.”
This sounds like the same problem experienced at the McHenry VFW.
I’m told the County Clerk’s Office had to bring in a new top for the machine.
Time will tell if this issue makes it to an elections problem report issued by the McHenry County Clerk.

Those results will only reflect McHenry County.
Meaning, with the exception of State House District 63 (Democrat John Bartman v Republican Steve Reick), the other State Representative districts in McHenry County are split with another county or counties.
64th State House District – Republican Barb Wheeler – no Democrat opponent – McHenry and Lake County.
65th State House District – Republican Steve Andersson – no Democrat opponent – McHenry and Kane County.
66th State House District – Democrat Nancy Zettler v Republican Allen Skillicorn – McHenry and Kane County. The incumbent Republican Michael Tryon did not run for re-election.
