Roskam continues to dominate fundraising in Sixth District race

DuPage County, IL – Representative Peter Roskam continues to dominate fundraising in the Sixth District Congressional race, besting his democrat opponent, Sean Casten, by raising nearly $1 million in the second quarter, bringing his total for the cycle to $4.4 million.
Second quarter fundraising for Roskam totaled $943,508 and he currently has $2.3 million cash on hand.

Casten, according to the FEC, raised $566,785.04 in contributions and $650,000 in loans from the candidate.
He had $192,469.25 in the bank at the end of June versus $2,249,079.92 in Roskam’s checking account.
