NATHAN RIGG SENTENCED TO 18 YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced that Nathan Rigg, 36, of Woodstock, Illinois, was sentenced to eighteen years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge.
The case proceeded to jury trial on August 29, 2022 and concluded on September 1, 2022.
Rigg was convicted on two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault and the case was continued for sentencing on January 13, 2023.
Judge Coppedge sentenced Rigg to nine years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on each count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault which will run consecutively.
This case was investigated by members of the Woodstock Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Tyler Mikan and Ashur Youash of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
